Back to School Backpack Programs-

HCFF Charities in partnership with other organizations support the children in our community that are returning to school. Both teachers and children in the Hillsborough County need assistance and resources to assist with their education in school and their home lives that many children would not receive otherwise. HCFF Charities support is accomplished through providing resources that offer a means to deliver and purchase school supplies to Hillsborough County school children.

Summer Fire Youth Academy-

Chief Alan D. Anderson Summer Youth Fire Academy offers students in Hillsborough County an exciting opportunity to learn what it takes to be a first responder. Over a period of two weeks, high school students or graduating seniors, between the ages of 14 and 18, are exposed to careers in firefighting and emergency medicine through hands-on and classroom activities. HCFF Charities support is accomplished through providing resources that offer some of the materials to include include lunches, snacks, water, and sports drinks that are provided each day.

Community Education-

HCFF Charities provides financial support, and program development to the Hillsborough County Fire Rescue Foundation and the Hillsborough County Firefighters, Local 2294 for community and educational programs. Programs sponsored include, but are not limited to, children’s fire safety day camps, fire station open houses and fire safety education programs in the Hillsborough County school system.
